SimCAD
Barco’s SimCAD software is a tool specifically developed for the design of display systems. Its design results from the cooperation between our optical, system and field engineers, while it brings together our extensive experience in putting theoretical science to practice in the field. SimCAD enables our engineers to accurately design advanced single- or multi-channel display systems. It lets them calibrate, test and predict performance parameters before the system is created, and optimize it in real-time. As such, we guarantee you a perfectly aligned system with optimum image quality to avoid unpleasant surprises late in the implementation process.
With SimCAD, our qualified Barco engineers can calculate a display system’s warping and blending requirements, total light output and contrast, light paths and general performance down to the very details. From us, you will get no vague indications about what your system will do and what it will look like: our customers get a hands-on preview of the entire visualization system, with all necessary parameters.
SimCAD files can be exported to other professional CAD-CAM programs, so that our specialists’ work can actually help us and you assemble your projection system faster, more correctly and more efficiently.
