Barco Announces New Appointments for College and Professional Sports Market
Logan, UT – December 05, 2003 - Barco is pleased to announce the appointment of Monte McGuire, effective immediately, to the position of Sales Manager for its Barco Sports division, located in Logan, UT. McGuire will focus on sales in the Western Region of North America. He will report to Dave Belding, Vice President of Sales, Barco Sports.
Prior to joining Barco, McGuire was a regional sales manager, national sales manager, and VP of Sales in the flat panel and large format display industry. McGuire has managed accounts across North and South America, and has worked closely with system integrators, consultants, and distributors in the digital signage and display industry.McGuire’s expertise in the large format display industry is matched by a passion for sports. Monte holds a B.S. degree from Texas Tech University, where he lettered in varsity football, and he also spent a year with the Denver Broncos. This combination of experience gives him an insider’s understanding of what it takes to be successful in the business of sports and a high level of personal commitment to ensuring the quality of sports presentation.
