Hilasal orders 2 WeaveMaster systems
Hilasal is an important textile operation with weaving mills in Mexico and El Salvador.
The mill in Mexico is already equipped with a monitoring system of a previous generation. This system will be replaced by BARCO's WeaveMaster system and the data collection hardware on the 70 projectile weaving machines will be converted using BARCO's Loda convertors. This approach allows Hilasal to continue with the installed data collection hardware on the looms and the wiring in the weave room.
The mill in El Salvador never had a monitoring system. WeaveMaster will be used to monitor 56 machines of which a good number are terry towel looms. BARCO's WeaveMaster planning module is perfectly adapted for terry towel operations. The planning module allows for the follow up on ground and pile beam and the warp out prediction is very accurate for both types of warp beams.
BARCO has resident service engineers in Mexico, so installation and training can be organized locally. The installed base of BARCO systems in Spanish/Portuguese speaking America is already quite impressive. Now BARCO is proud to add Hilasal to the customer reference list.
