BARCOPROFILE for air jet and vortex spinning machines
BARCOPROFILE is an optical absolute yarn diameter measurement system for use on rotor spinning machines, air jet texturing machines and winding machines for industrial yarns.
Now, BARCOPROFILE also becomes available for Murata air jet and vortex spinning machines.
The use of optical absolute measurement technology in combination with a powerful and dedicated microprocessor software allows for the following features on a position by position basis :
- on-line classification of thick and thin places in the yarn
- very fast detection of periodic yarn defects caused by draft-zone problems
- on-line IPI classification
- detection of thick and thin sliver and yarn count defects
- continuous control of the yarn irregularity (CV%) and the yarn hairiness (HR)
- real time spectrogram, histogram and variation-length-curve (CVL) analysis
- evaluation of the splice quality and splicer efficiency
BARCOPROFILE substitutes time-consuming and expensive laboratory-based spot checks as of the built-in defect classification matrix and ultra-fast spectrogram and CV% analysis.
Additional features include length measurement and an adequate interface with the splicer and auto-doffer carriage to command its actions.
The central unit provides the operator and mill management with accurate reporting on quality and production parameters such as produced weight and length, number of packages produced, efficiency,… Exception and hit list reports are a sound approach to quality follow-up and preventive maintenance.
Integration into the BARCO SpinMaster central system is also possible.
