Barco Introduces 28” Rugged Flat Display for Operational Decision-making
EUROSATORY, Villepinte, France - Barco is pleased to introduce its 28” rugged flat display at this year’s Eurosatory exhibition. The FD 471, which displays highly detailed images at a resolution of 2048 x 2048, offers a new degree of operator comfort and greatly facilitates operational decision-making.
Barco’s FD 471 is a 28” rugged LCD display, which presents an ergonomic, light-weight solution for military ATC applications and C4I operational decision-making. The rugged LCD displays images at 2K x 2K resolution and features Barco’s unique APA (Automatic Phase Adjust) functionality to eliminate image artifacts (e.g. pixel noise). The 28” panel’s high-bright light output shows more detailed information, offers enhanced user comfort and counteracts eye fatigue.Barco’s FD 471 features four field-replaceable backlight trays for consistent image quality and reduced life cycle cost. The display’s low weight, low power and small volume and high brightness allow console designers a new degree of freedom to reduce costs and improve operator comfort and performance.
