BARCO adds 4 projectors for intensive-use to its award-winning iQ Series product line
iQ and iQ Pro LongLife Series projectors are designed for reception areas, customer briefing centers, and intensively-used meeting rooms
KORTRIJK, BELGIUM – JANUARY 14TH, 2003. BARCO is pleased to announce that it will add 4 projectors for intensive-use to the iQ and the iQ Pro Series product line. The new projectors are designed for the rigorous demands of long-running presentation environments. Specialized filters and precision components have been added to the projector design to maximize the lifetime of all critical projector components. The projectors’ innovative design dramatically extends operation time, reduces service and maintenance, and lowers the total cost-of-ownership.
Long-life lamps are provided with the new projectors. The iQ LongLife Series includes two 120W lamps, with a lifetime of 6,000 hours per lamp. When operating in the dual-lamp mode, the projectors can run for a total of 6,000 hours and deliver up to 2,000 ANSI lumens. For added economy, the projector can be operated in the single-lamp mode. In this mode, it will deliver approximately 1,000 ANSI lumens, and lamps can run sequentially for 12,000 hours.
The iQ LongLife projector is an optimized solution for applications when projectors must run uninterrupted and daily for several hours, like …
- Reception areas displaying continuous welcome messages or corporate videos
- Customer briefing centers
- Meeting and training rooms where several presentations are given daily
The iQ LongLife series will be available in the iQ platform and in the networked iQ Pro platform, both in XGA and SXGA resolution. The iQ LongLife Series will be available in the January 2003 timeframe.
Please note that for multi-screen, rear-screen, 24/7 control room applications BARCO offers optimised Barco Control Room solutions. We refer to www.barcocontrolrooms.com for more information.
