Barco Digital Cinema announces partnership agreement with Stellar Megamedia
Following it’s recent successes in China with sales to the China Film Group and Hualong Digital Studio, BARCO is proud to announce it will install more D-Cine Premiere (R) in China within the next two months.
In this regard Stellar Megamedia and BARCO have signed a partnership agreement in order to cooperate closer in digital cinema in China.
Stellar Multimedia is working on an end-to-end solution, from generating the content, through post-production and distribution, right up to taking charge of the exhibition and marketing. “They have the vision, the financial strength, the people, the knowledge and experience to be successful”, Phil Chen adds.
Stellar Megamedia has almost finished building a brand new post-production facility in Beijing and one of their new multiplexes in a top location in downtown Shanghai. Both facilities will be equipped with a D-Cine Premiere(R), Barco’s top-of-the-range digital cinema projection solution. “What Barco does is a lot more than just provide the best projection equipment, they let us tap their knowledge in digital cinema”, Li Qing, Vice President of Stellar Megamedia states.
