Common World Productions Launches LED Fleet with Purchase of BARCO LED Displays

Kennesaw, GA – September 16, 2002 – Barco Events announced that it has sold 233 square feet of its DLite 7 indoor/outdoor LED displays to Common World Productions, Inc. (CWP), in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a full service video and television production company, serving the corporate and entertainment industries. CWP has been selected to provide services for some of the nation’s most high-profile events such as, NCAA Final Four, Lilith Fair, DFL and GOP Conventions and the Korean War Veteran's Memorial Dedication with former President Clinton. Other clients include General Motors, Northwest Airlines, MTV Networks, United Way and hundreds of nationally recognized entertainers such as Bill Cosby, Garth Brooks and Cher.

Christopher Nason, President of CWP stated, “After years of research it was obvious to us that Barco’s LED display panels were by far the most superior product available, especially the DLite 7’s. One important factor was to look at the existing vendors that already owned this product to determine if they would be agreeable to cross-renting these display systems. What we discovered was that the leading and most respected video production companies in this country all had the DLite 7 LEDs and the opportunities to cross-rent were available immediately. To our “DLite”, we already have all our inventory booked through most of this year and we are currently lining up several events for 2003.”

“Common World has provided outstanding video production services for over 13 years,” stated Curt Petty, Market Business Manager, Barco Events, “We are delighted to be a supplier of LED to CWP and look forward to a long and prosperous relationship with the organization.”
