BARCO today showcases two revolutionary events control and image processing systems, the Events Controller and the brand new ViewScape
Renowned for its leadership in the visualization industry and with over 20 years experience in projection technologies, BARCO again proves its commitment to the development of cutting-edge visualization solutions by the introduction of these much anticipated products.The ViewScape is one of the most flexible and powerful image-processing devices available in the industry today. It can handle several different tasks such as input switching, windowing, tiling, effect generation, edge blending and format conversion. It is specifically designed to arrange, display and manipulate several images onto one screen or two combined screens.
Equipped with both digital and analogue outputs, the ViewScape can not only be used with Barco projectors and Barco Daylight displays, but also with any third party projector, LED wall, plasma display, CRT or LCD monitor.
The ViewScape can add effects such as Alpha Blending, Chroma Keying, Z-order control and Edge Blending. Also it generates the overlap area in the case of edge-blended projected images. Several ViewScapes can be combined to expand the number of screens or number of inputs virtually unlimited.
Barco’s Events Controller, enables the control of all daylight and projection displays, as well as all the other equipment involved in a show. This includes the recently launched Catalyst system, automated and conventional lighting devices, smoke machines, image generators, truss motors, hydraulics and much, much more. It also has unique additional features such as Positracking - the ability to recreate the exact position and status of all show devices as seen at any specific point during the performance. Based on Barco’s ViewScape platform, the Events Controller also allows for full timeline programming of visual effects, which in turn allows for real time content creation.
