Franzoni orders SliverWatch for 3 mills
One of Europe's largest yarn producers, Italy-based Franzoni has ordered from BarcoVision 22 SliverWatch systems which are to be installed on the breaker draw frames (first passage) in 3 spinning mils.
Franzoni is known for high quality ring and OE yarn. They produce combed as well as carded yarn. The Franzoni group was amongst the first spinning mills to invest in new ring spinning machines for the production of compact yarn.The SliverWatch systems on order, will be installed in:
Esine: ring yarn
Cividate: OE yarn
Calcinate: compact yarn
This is not the first order for SliverWatch placed by Franzoni. Before, they have already installed SliverWatch on a lapper for their combed yarn operation at Trani (South Italy).
SliverWatch will further reduce the contamination or foreign fiber level in Franzoni's yarn, while at the same time the number of foreign fiber clearer cuts on winders is reduced, thus reducing the number of splices in the yarn.
