Barco LED Visual Systems Prevail at the Geneva International Motor Show 2002
Barco will be present with nearly 300 m2 of its market leading daylight display products at the 72nd Geneva International Motor Show in Switzerland.
Barco is proud to confirm its leadership position in the world market of LED screens. At this year’s Geneva International Motor Show Barco will have 300 m2 of its world-class LED walls. No less than 18 booths of the worlds leading car brands will feature Barco LED display products. In this way nearly all LED walls at the 72nd Geneva International Motor Show will be Barco walls. The show is held at Palexpo from March 7 to 17, 2002. It is known to be the prime event for international car manufacturers to introduce new vehicles and concepts for the European market. This year the audience is expected to break last year’s record of 718.000 visitors.
Amongst others, leading car manufacturers such as BMW, Mercedes, Saab, Chrysler, Volvo, Renault, Peugeot and Toyota have chosen Barco LED daylight display technology, well known for its image quality and reliability. The Barco daylight displays will be represented through some of Barco’s premier European rental partners including ETF (Belgium), ICT (Germany), VPS (France), Gahrens & Battermann (Germany) and Sono (Spain).
The vast majority of the 300 m² is Ilite 6, the highest quality indoor display product available today. Currently, Barco’s ILite display products are available in 4 resolutions ranging from 3 to 10 mm with viewing angles up to 165º, resulting in extremely high quality images and making it the ideal display for up close viewing.
The ILite and DLite visual solution product line is ideal for a variety of applications such as exhibitions, product launches, advertising, sport stadiums and live events.
