Latest Barco DLP Display System helps monitor and manage Shanghai’s Hongqiao Airport
Shanghai, China, 7 May 2010 – The Barco Large-Screen Display System, implemented in the four control centers in Terminal 2 of Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, has been lauded ever since the new terminal went into operation earlier this year. The Barco system, comprising 76 Overview D 80” display units with the latest technology, assists the airport staff in processing information to manage and monitor traffic in Terminal 2. The system helps make the airport's control processes more comprehensive and efficient, which further improves Hongqiao Airport's operations as it performs as the transportation hub during Shanghai Expo 2010.

Barco's Overview D 80” DLP Display System incorporates the latest digital display technology, providing the highest levels of brightness, picture definition, color anti-false recognition and image uniformity. With its unique modular design and proprietary 0.2mm stitching technique, the system can meet the needs of virtually any control room and display wall. The display's dual redundant lamp design helps save operational costs while maintaining clear and consistent image output. Furthermore, the advanced optical adjuster equalizes and stabilizes brightness and contrast across the entire screen for extended periods of use.
