Successful 2009 for Barco in APAC digital cinema market
Shanghai, CHINA, 9 December 2009 — Digital cinema pioneer Barco rounds up a successful year in Greater China with numerous reference contracts and a total install base of more than 1500 digital projectors.
This year Barco deployed more than 1300 digital cinema projectors across Greater China, demonstrating the company's leading position in the market. Key customers include China's most prominent players in digital cinema such as the China Film Group, Stellar Megamedia and Heng Dian, who all selected from Barco's vast digital cinema portfolio of 0.98” and 1.2” DMD platforms. Customers especially value Barco's long-term investment in China's digital cinema industry and the company's strong focus on innovation and service.
