Barco enters business jet market with new line of large-screen cockpit displays
New displays will be integrated into Honeywell's Primus Apex platform
NBAA, Orlando, FL, 17 October 2006 - Avionics visualization specialist Barco will develop top-of-the-line 10" and 15" avionics displays for Honeywell's Primus Apex integrated cockpit solution. With this exclusive contract, Barco taps the growing market of high-resolution, large-screen cockpit displays providing business jet pilots with larger views and improved situational awareness.
The brand-new KDU displays will take the air aboard a variety of business jet cockpits including Grob aircraft. First deliveries are scheduled for early 2007.
