Barco unveils new, integrated suite of cardiac analysis applications
CardiaMetrix puts 3D and 4D analysis tools for quantitative analysis of cardiac image studies onto your diagnostic workstation
RSNA, CHICAGO, IL, USA, 27 November 2005 - On the occasion of this year's RSNA, Barco will showcase CardiaMetrix, a new suite of clinical application modules available within its flagship 3D software product, Voxar 3D. CardiaMetrix provides radiologists and cardiologists with a powerful set of tools for structural and functional analysis of contrast-enhanced Computed Tomography Angiography (CTA) studies. The new software suite comes as a clinical application module within Voxar 3D and shares Voxar 3D's integration with PACS.
Barco's new CardiaMetrix incorporates several advanced clinical application modules, including coronary vessel analysis, calcium scoring, 4D cardiac analysis and cardiac (left ventricular) functional analysis. Designed for the rapid evaluation of multi-phase cardiac CT studies, CardiaMetrix delivers high-quality visualization of 2D, 3D and 4D images of the heart. The software also has tools for the automatic calculation of heart function parameters and quantitative analysis of cardiac anatomy, including the coronary vessels.
CardiaMetrix offers radiologists and cardiologists complete consistency in user experience across the suite of cardiac applications, making the tools easy to learn and efficient to use. The software incorporates an efficient, task-based guided workflow, along with the necessary tools for effective reading and analysis of cardiac CT studies that are required for rapid reporting and communication of key images.
