Barco Digital Cinema projector performs the premiere 3D demonstration on the China Digital Cinema Forum at BIRTV
Beijing China, 27 August 2005. Barco teams up with Texas Instruments DLP Cinema to complete the premiere 3D demonstration on China Digital Cinema Forum at BIRTV. Barco presents to the audience a totally new digital experience through its DP100 2k digital cinema projector and QuVis digital cinema server. This demonstration interprets the 3D stereoscopic technology in the cinema application.
3D stereoscopic technology used in digital cinema is a new application of film entertainment and is becoming a development trend welcomed by the film industry. It is believed to be a landmark of film entertainment and will bring brand new experience to the audience. China Digital Cinema Forum is the high level forum organized by China Film Group. This year’s theme is ‘Digital Cinema in China’.
