Barco announces Allen Bowersox as new Market Development Manager

Xenia, Ohio – Barco is pleased to announce Allen Bowersox as the most recent addition to the Simulation Market Development team.

”A fast-paced, competitive market, Simulation demands leaders who will not only oversee operations, but also those who are able to creatively identify and successfully pursue all available opportunities within the market,” says Steve McCullough, Vice President and General Manager of Barco’s Simulation Division. “Allen’s past experience proves him to be a worthy candidate for this position.”

As Market Development Manager, Allen will be responsible for researching, developing, and implementing strategies to help Barco gain a stronger hold on the simulation market. This will be accomplished through direct marketing, attendance and exhibition at trade shows, and publicity. In addition to this, Allen will conduct market surveys and develop marketing activity reports to shed light on financial, technological, and demographic influences that may be used to expose opportunities in the market.

Allen has been actively involved in the simulation market since 1982. He has served as sales manager, both regionally and internationally, for such companies as MCS, Inc., Evans & Sutherland, and Mercury Computer Systems, Inc. His work with these companies included the sale of products in the Visualization and Simulation markets and computer software design and manufacturing.

Most recently, as Sales Manager for MultiGen-Paradigm, Inc., Allen took responsibility for sales to System Integrators. This included involvement in flight and ground-based Image Generation systems, sensors, databases, and custom integration services.
