Barco showcases extensive range of professional visualization solutions at Integrated Systems Europe 2005.
Kortrijk, Belgium, January 26, 2005 – Barco further confirms its commitment to technological innovation by showcasing cutting-edge visualization solutions for use in the media, entertainment, retail, advertising, presentation, traffic, surveillance, telecom and broadcast markets. Barco’s solutions will be demonstrated on stand N°1013 at the upcoming Integrated Systems Europe show, January 26-28, RAI Amsterdam, Hall 8.
Barco will demonstrate its network-centric visualization solutions for the broadcast and presentation markets, offering operational excellence and increased flexibility. Networked visualization enables distribution and visualization of all information using standard IT infrastructure and central management and control of the networked display systems.
Showcased will be the OverView D 80” display wall with SXGA+ resolution. As with the 50” and 67”, the OverView D 80” features the latest high-contrast DLPTM technology, optimal brightness, contrast, color uniformity and wide viewing angles. Barco’s proprietary Optical Dimming technology ensures optimal light coupling between the lamp and the DLPTM chip and also compensates for lamp life, resulting in superior brightness and uniformity. In addition, Barco’s Dynamic Feedback technology allows the display to maintain consistent light output. The OverView D display systems can be combined by Barco’s proprietary stitching technique, allowing virtually seamless display walls that can be expanded both vertically and/or horizontally to any size, in straight or curved configurations.
The iCon H600 is the first member of a new product family of high-definition, 16:9, network centric projectors. It offers 1920 x 1080 for meeting environments, such as classrooms, boardrooms and conference centers. It is fully compatible with HDTV video standards, turning it into the ideal visualization solution for AV applications.
The projector integrates a powerful display server and can be easily connected to the user’s network infrastructure, enabling collaborative meetings between remote meeting sites, real time interaction, file sharing and remote control & diagnostics. Via mouse and keyboard, four external sources can be processed with complete and flexible picture-in-picture (PiP) functionality.
