Barco Digital Cinema welcomes Moving Image Technologies (MiT) as a Digital Cinema Partner

Atlanta, GA – January 10, 2005 – Barco Digital Cinema is pleased to announce they have signed a contract agreement with Moving Image Technologies (MiT) to be a Value Added Reseller (VAR) of Barco’s digital cinema equipment. MiT, a leading manufacturer and integrator of cinema exhibition presentation systems, is the nineteenth company to join Barco Digital Cinema’s extensive network of VAR’s and dealers.

Barco Digital Cinema’s Joe DeMeo will chair the ITEA’s Digital Capture and Imaging in Today’s Moviemaking discussion, featuring director James Cameron, on Tuesday January 11th beginning at 9:45am. ITEA will also host two excursions for conference attendees; a visit to one of the nation’s premiere post-production facilities, E-Film, which is equipped with five Barco DP 100 2K projectors and to visit The Academy’s Dunn Theatre, which also features Barco’s latest 2K projector.
