Barco introduces Secupack solutions at ASIS 2004
Atlanta, GA - September 27, 2004 – At ASIS 2004, Barco introduces new display package solutions designed specifically for the security market. These solutions are intended to replace the myriad of computer and video display monitors that currently exist in user consoles and displays found in most security control room environments. These solutions can scale from small control rooms to large-scale operations. They are designed to provide a visually integrated solution to consolidate disparate legacy systems, provide better collaboration, flexibility and viewing ergonomics, as well as save money and space.
These integrated display solutions support direct inputs from RGB (computer signals), analog video, streaming video and any graphical data passed via the network. The display solutions provide better viewing ergonomics to allow collaborative work. Integrated universal decoding capability saves significantly on equipment purchases (reduced need for decoders), space, cabling, installation and maintenance labor. Display software increases user flexibility (layout changes, signals mixing) and provides a visually integrated view of disparate legacy systems.In addition, with Barco’s Application Programmer’s Interface (API), these solutions can be managed by higher-level software to compose any view at any display, at anytime. This integrates operations to allow faster response times and also provides the flexibility to the user to maintain a unified operator interface for their operations to save training times and allow easy employee transfers.
