Barco Bolsters Digital Cinema Team

Atlanta, GA – Barco Digital Cinema is pleased to announce the appointment of Douglas Harbaugh as Field Sales Engineer, Barco Digital Cinema, to strengthen its growing Digital Cinema Dealer Engineering support team. Harbaugh will report to Joe DeMeo, National Sales Manager, Barco Digital Cinema, and Glen Brown, Field Service Operations Manager, Barco Visual Solutions, LLC. He will be responsible for Field Engineering support and training for Barco’s growing list of Digital Cinema Dealers. Barco Digital Cinema has seen tremendous increase in sales worldwide and installations of its digital cinema projector line over the past two years.

Harbaugh has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Digital Cinema industry. He most recently worked for Belgian-based EVS, as a Customer Support Engineer for the company’s Digital Cinema server product range. In that role, he was responsible for all facets of Digital Cinema installations and support, including overseeing digital mastering to delivery of Feature Release Movies. Prior to EVS, Harbaugh was the first Systems Engineer for the USC ETC Digital Cinema Laboratory in Hollywood, CA. He has also worked for Paramount Pictures and has experience with post-production houses working on emerging Entertainment Technologies.
