Outdoor Broadcast Network selects Barco as supplier of choice for LED display solution
Toronto, Canada – Barco announced today it has been chosen as the supplier of choice for digital signage LED display solutions to Outdoor Broadcast Network (OBN). OBN recently purchased a Barco DLite 10 outdoor LED display and a Barco DLite 14 outdoor LED display, each measuring 13.2’ x 7.35’, to create a versatile and user-friendly approach to out of home advertising, with the image quality of television in an outdoor environment. Installation of the first displays was completed in January 2004. Barco is also supplying the 40’ x 30’ LED display for the Toronto Eaton Centre Media Tower which is scheduled to be completed in November 2004.
By using the digital technology of LED displays, advertisers are able to tailor their messages to the audiences they wish to reach. The real-time capability allows for advertisers to change messages throughout the day.
